 Founded in 2001, Daniel Island Design, LLC is a full service interior design firm and showroom located on Daniel Island just outside of Charleston, South Carolina. Specializing in both residential and commercial design, our priority is to listen and respond to our client’s needs. We work very hard to fully understand project requirements, and with attention to detail, design to meet those goals. Through this process we create spaces that reflect each client’s unique needs, budgets, personalities, and lifestyles in a look that is always timeless. From finalizing interior selections in a new construction to procuring furniture, art and accessories, it is work we enjoy.
As a full service design firm, we offer our expertise to homeowners as well as developers and builders. We excel in new construction, remodeling/renovation, and simply updating interior spaces. We assist homeowners with space planning, furniture layouts, furnishings, fabrics, window treatments, bedding, accessories, custom rugs, wall coverings, lighting, plumbing, tile, paint colors and more. When working with developers and builders, we serve as a liaison in the establishment of mutually respectful relationships with all involved. For speculative work we specify all finish materials which may include, but are not limited to: interior and exterior paint schedules, plumbing, tile and stone, lighting, carpet, appliances, cabinetry and hardware. We feel teamwork is fundamental to the success of every project. Our approach is a focused, collaborative process that emphasizes dialogue between the builders, architects, certified kitchen specialists, and other professionals. Our team approach ensures quality design while ever mindful of schedules and budgets.
Daniel Island Design provides both a retail showroom and design library. Our showroom features a wide selection of furnishings, lamps, bedding, accessories, and art. In addition, we offer our clients a large design library of fabrics, wall coverings, trims, furniture, lighting, accessories, hardware, carpet, plumbing and tile. Our showroom is open to the public weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Consultations are available by appointment.
